From The Chairperson

  • Dattatray Shankar Patil (Chairperson)

VANI is the platform of the CSO sector started in nineties, by the stallwords in the sector. The main objective behind it was to strengthen the sector internally as also create and negotiate with the government authorities as also the funding support communities for the best outputs from the sector. It was also aimed that the secro will identify the development issues and support the government to address those socio-economic and environmental issues. It is expected that this platform will run on its own and take up all issues related to the sector.

The member organizations will have certain parameters that could be considered as the credible organization having good practices as also following certain policies at the organization level. VANI's identity is expected to be built on the profile of the members and their numbers across the Nation.
