VANI Organized The NGO Meet-Up For The North East Region On 19th March 2026 In Imphal, Manipur. The Meeting Brought Together Civil Society Organisations From Across The North East To Strengthen Civic Space And Build Regional Collaboration. Our Main Objectives Were To Understand The Unique Challenges Faced By CSOs In The Region, Explore Sustainable Funding Opportunities, And Create Safer Digital Environments For Grassroots Activism. We Focused On Building Solidarity Among Organizations, Improving Legal Compliance And Documentation Practices. The Meeting Also Addressed Critical Issues Like Media Narratives, Digital Security, And Capacity Building Needs Specific To North East CSOs. Through This Initiative, We Aim To Empower Civil Society Voices, Enhance Collaboration, And Create A Supportive Ecosystem Where Organizations Can Thrive And Effectively Serve Their Communities.
