Montu Ahanthem is a child rights advocate and development professional based in Manipur, with expertise in child protection laws including the RTE Act, JJ Act, and POCSO Act. He serves as Secretary of Wide Angle (Social Development Organisation) and has held key positions with the Manipur Commission for Protection of Child Rights, the State Task Force for Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, and the Manipur Alliance for Child Rights. His work spans research, training, and advocacy, with publications supported by CRY and the European Union, and recognition through an international film festival award for his documentary on children's rights in Manipur.
