Hemal Kamat is a development professional with over 25 years of experience in the NGO sector, currently serving as Co-Chairperson of VANI and Secretary & Director of Concept Sansthan, Madhya Pradesh, with a focus on women's empowerment, natural resource management, and rural livelihoods. She has trained over 7,500 women, supported 250+ women-led enterprises, and led grassroots initiatives spanning health, agriculture, digital literacy, and skill development across Madhya Pradesh. A recipient of multiple national and state-level awards including the Women Achiever Award and Nari Shakti Puraskar, she has represented India at international forums including BRICS, GALA Asia, and Civil 7 in Japan.
