“Prevention of Money Laundering Rules, 2009”

Dear Members,

Greetings from VANI!

This mail is in continuation of my earlier mail dated 2nd December 2009, regarding inclusion of Non-Profit Sector in “Prevention of Money Laundering Rules, 2009”. The Reserve Bank of India has instructed banks to step up scrutiny of non-profit Organizations in line with these new changes. Accordingly, Banks will be required to maintain records of all transaction carried out by non-profit organizations exceeding Rs. 10 Lakh.

I would like to advice you to get in touch with your Bankers and maintain/ provide relevant information.

Thanking you

Regards
Harsh Jaitli
