India is presently a developing reality. Voluntary efforts over here are committed to the uplift marginalized & poors. They have nothing to do with the terrorism which requires a seprate mode of dealings so need is to scrap FCRA & promote voluntarism to sustain Democratic culture in this countary.

It is sad to note that Government of India is becoming more controling instead of supporting NGOs, While all other private sector especially Industry getting more liberal approach, NGOs which contribute many to the society gets different treatment from Government. It should be corrected.

The most undesirable part of FCR Bill 2006 is the provision of renewal of FCRA Registration after 5 years. This will create more bureacratic hurdles and complicate the whole process of FCRA registration.

The work of volunteerism has done exemplary work in social, economic, political, cultural and medical education, moreso to the rural and urban poor, tribal, dalit, women, children, handicapped, destitute and on and on. This visionary work done by volunteers in India has been recognised by not only the people across the world but also the Indian Government. Then why such doutful attitude towards voluntary organisations? We are neither terrorists nor national criminals. This is a sincere appeal to put an end to the FCRa bill against Voluntary organisations and increase better treatment.
